Hey Metal-CreditCard.com just wanted to share some personal stories that happened to me after upgrading my Debit card to Metal and the treatment I received.

 

I call this experience “MILE HIGH CUSTOMER SERVICE”.

 

I had just received the card as few days earlier and I was traveling to Canada for the first time. During the flight, I decided I wanted to buy some drinks; to ease the anxiety of flying. So as the flight attendant was pushing her cart down the lighted path way, I realized I didn’t have any cash on me. Luckily I had my custom metal black card (I was able to get through security no problem). So I asked for a gin and tonic and she had poured me my drink. She asked for payment, so I handed her my metal black card. She looked at it and then looked at me. She says “wow this is a nice card and it’s heavy”. I just looked at her and said thanks; not quite sure what else to say. So she ran my card and apparently debit cards can’t be used on a plane. She explains why, hands me back my black card and tells me all my drinks will be on her this flight; but not to expect this from anyone else. I laughed and said thank you very much. She winked at me and I proceeded to drink for free the rest of the flight.

I have to believe this experience was the result of using my custom black card; I’m sure if I handed her my basic plastic card she would have not been so accommodating. This was a very nice and unexpected experience.
